I’ve been dying to put together a green and leopard outfit since I saw this post on …love Maegan in June. I really wanted to have a pair of green skinny jeans but never got around to adding those to my closet. So, here is my version based on items I already owned. I’m happy with how it turned out.
Details: Top and bangles from H&M / Cardigan from Loft / Leopard belt and jeans from The Limited / Mossimo leopard heels from Target.
In non-outfit related news, I’m still on the job hunt. I knew things would slow down in December but I must admit that I’m getting a little nervous about what will be next for me. I’m still desperately trying to figure out what I want to do but the inspiration eludes me. I guess it’s getting me down a little bit but I’m trying not to get too upset about it. I finally have time to do the things I wanted to do while working full time (like working out, taking creative classes, reading) but often I lack the motivation to do them. Isn’t that terrible?
Yep, another black and gold combination; this time paired with a simple gray t-shirt. Casual and a bit sassy. I just love the tone-on-tone polka dots on this vest. It’s definitely not your grandpa’s sweater vest! I also love this men’s version from TheUrbanApparel.com with simple polka dot accents. Menswear trend + polka dot trend = a winner.
Sorry for the weird afternoon shadows in this picture. I really am working on improving my photography and I’m saving for a new camera. No one warned me in advance that this blogging adventure would be so expensive! But as long as it’s still fun, I’m committed. I paired this strapless dress with my chambray shirt for a great Fall outfit. It strikes a nice dressy/casual balance and could be easily modified with boots and tights for Winter.
Don’t forget to check back next week to hear about my interview and meet up with the amazing Stacy London!
Dress and cuff bracelet from The Limited (this color is back in season)
Our lives have been forever changed to think pink in October to support breast cancer awareness. I felt inspired to wear some pink not only for the cause but as Fall approaches, it may be harder to work this color into outfits. I lost my great Aunt many years ago and hope all you ladies take good care of yourselves – and your ta♥tas.
Once again, I’m taking part in one of Marion’s style challenges – the trendy statement necklace. Since I’ve been doing this blog accessorizing has been one of my personal goals. I still feel I have a long way to go but for this challenge I decided to use not one, but two necklaces to create a bold look. They are also the only pop of color in this otherwise neutral combination [close up shot below] which truly makes them a statement piece.
