Boy oh boy do I love this color combination! I’ve worn it a couple of different ways here and here as well. If this pale girl can wear bright colors there’s no way it won’t look good on you too. Jump on in!

I know I’m approaching a time in my style adventure where I will need to tone down the sparkle but for now I like this casual, rocker, cowgirl shirt (how many more adjectives could be added to one shirt?). It’s fun to wear with black skinnies + heels and obviously a little more laid back with light colored cropped pants and heels.

In other exciting news I’ll be attending an exclusive fashion and shopping event called Girls’ Night Out at Andaz San Diego. Shopping, cocktails, roof top scenery and spa treatments. Sounds like fun, right? Now for the better news. The first 20 people to use the code “highheels” (here) get tickets for only $20. You can’t beat that for a night of girlie fun! What to wear? What to wear?

Yep, I’m still in love with this color combination! Here are a few other ways to wear gray and yellow:

Outfit: Return of a Classic

Even after all this time of working on improving my wardrobe, I’m still a sucker for red/black/white combinations. So crisp and so bold. Ruffles on top continue down to meet up with the pleating detail on the skirt. There’s just something comforting about a classic combination.

I like the pattern on these jeans (despite my husband’s opinion) but I’m no longer loving the fit. They’re a little too loose at the ankles which gives them a more relaxed feel than I want. I’m thinking about turning them into shorts. Thoughts?

Outfit: Black/White Pattern Mixing

The easiest way to mix patterns is to stay in one color family. Since I chose black and white, I also added a pop of aqua accents. The knit skirt and loose fitting top were comfortable and would work for a variety of occasions.
